Mobility scooter and powered wheelchair Insurance
Protect your mobility, enjoy peace of mind.  Lockton’s Mobility Risk Services has been providing insurance and extended warranty covers for powered  wheelchairs and mobility scooters for over 30 years.

What sort of Insurance is available?
For powered wheelchairs and scooters, Lockton offers three different policies:-

Mobility Insurance for Manual Wheelchairs

What sort of Insurance is available?
For manual wheelchairs, Lockton offer insurance cover for a period of:

 

·	Advance Gold - Comprehensive 'All Risks' cover for all powered mobility vehicles including third party insurance cover.
·	Advance Warranty Premier - Comprehensive 'All Risks' cover plus breakdown cover for New powered wheelchairs and scooters, including third party insurance cover.
·	Advance Warranty Plus - Comprehensive 'All Risks' plus breakdown cover for Used powered wheelchairs and scooters up to six years old.  This policy includes third party insurance cover.

24/7 Recovery Services
A 24 hour, 7 day a week Recovery service is available to users of mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.  This service is provided by Autohome Assistance who have specialised in the provision of recovery services for over 30 years.  It provides assistance following mechanical or electrical breakdown of your machine, or immobilisation of your machine as a result of an accident breakdown, tyre puncture or flat battery.  You and your machine will be transported to your home address as long as the distance is no more than 20 miles from the recovery site.

Both policies provide Comprehensive “All risks” cover including Third party insurance cover.
